Notes & Reviews:

Olivier Greif 's freedom of composition in his String Quartet No. 2 - open to Elizabethan quotes as well as Beethoven's influence - fascinated Patrick Langot and the Syntonia Ensemble. In 2000, the ensemble had the opportunity to meet Greif at the Paris Conservatory, and dared to create the 4th quartet just one month before his passing. Now, 10 years later, this unique project is presented to the public.
