Notes & Reviews:

The career of Pavel Lisitsian, one of the most marvelous singers ever to hail from Russia, continued for three decades. His aristocratic, mellifluous baritone voice, his perfect vocal poise and great projective force, created an enormous effect. In the Indian summer of his career he concentrated wholly on lieder and concert repertoire.
