"Ms. de la Parra elicited a vibrantly nuanced performance whose bristling conclusion had the audience on their feet." -The New York Times
"Ms. de la Parra is something else again, a truly musical musician." -Dallas Morning News
"When Mexican conductor Alondra de la Parra needed an orchestra, she founded one - and did the administrative and artistic legwork. She was 23. Six years later, she has lifted her baton for more than 20 world premieres and has become an industry darling with her skills and sky-is-the-limit attitude." -Inside Arts
"For me, all I can say is that it was positively thrilling to sit in that audience, see the connection that existed between stage and audience, and once again have my belief that the symphonic music we love has a much broader appeal than some of the American press might have us believe." - Henry Fogel, ArtsJournal weblog
