The Hexagon Ensemble is a piano sextet consisting of five wind players and a pianist. Not one library is safe from these six musicians - they search all over the world to find unknown or forgotten repertoire, and their quest has yielded a unique catalog containing over 4,000 works. In recording their CDs, Hexagon's musicians do not impose any restraints. Famous highlights from music literature are interchanged with special works to create a pleasant and often surprising mix of well-known and forgotten repertoire. The ensemble has released seven well-received CDs.
