Notes & Reviews:

Frédéric Meinders is not the first to render Dichterliebe into a convincing vehicle for the piano. Well-known for his transcriptions, he also is a prolific composer of piano music for the left hand alone. On this recording, in addition to the Dichterliebe, Meinders offers works for piano by Chopin transcribed for the left hand alone.
