Notes & Reviews:

François du Toit is acknowledged as one of South Africa's foremost pianists, chamber musicians and music educators. His relationship with the Cape Town Symphony Orchestra was born while still a student when he was chosen to tour with them in China as soloist and continued through numerous other performances. The recording of the Rachmaninoff Paganini Rhapsody and Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 1 show the combination of artistry and technical brilliance that has seen South African orchestras and soloists survive to the present day, in spite of financial adversities and uncertainties.
