Notes & Reviews:
Multi-talented violinist Mark Fewer enjoys one of the most diverse artistic lives of his generation. Comfortable in a variety of roles, he is well-known nationally and internationally as a violin soloist, chamber musician, orchestral leader, jazz violinist, artistic programmer, arranger, and most recently, teacher. As a chamber musician, he is a founding member of the Duke Piano Trio and a member of Canada's SuperNova String Quartet, which have both completed Beethoven cycles to critical acclaim. He was also artistic director of the Scotia Festival of Music from 2004-2009, and is the founding director of the immensely popular SweetWater Music Festival, which takes place in Owen Sound each September.
