The organ in the Town Hall of Christchurch, New Zealand was built by Rieger Orgelbau of Schwarzach, Austria in 1997. It remains the only Rieger organ in a New Zealand concert hall and was a stunning completion of the 1972 auditorium both visually and acoustically. The organ continues to attract acclaim from the many international artists who perform on it.
