Pachelbel to Purcell includes their classic version of Pachelbel Canon, Mouret’s Rondeau (familiar as the Theme to Masterpiece Theatre) and the wedding staple Trumpet Voluntary. Between Bach & Handel features all-time works by these two great Baroque giants including Suite from Water Music, the famous Largo from Xerxes and a rousing Hallelujah Chorus by Handel along with a tuneful “Little” Fugue in G minor, an expansive Toccata and Fugue in D minor and the popular Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring all by Bach.
