Cellist Mattia Zappa has studied at the Academy of Music in Basel, at Juilliard and at the Accademia Pianistica d'Imola in Bologna. He has appeared as a soloist with orchestras throughout Switzerland. He is a member of the cello section of the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich.
