Parallel to his studies at the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz and the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Helmut Rogl earned his PhD in business at Johannes Kepler University, living a dual life between the arts and business worlds. Besides Rogl's love for the instrument, it was also his friendship with Martin Rummel that led to a series of cello works. This is the first time that all of these works have been gathered on one recording.
