Noted especially for his interpretations of Brahms, pianist Eric Le Van studied at the University of Southern California, in Basel, Switzerland with Rudolf Buchbinder at Le Sorbonne. He founded and directed the Franz Liszt Festival in Alsace, France from 1997 to 2003. He has performed as both soloist and chamber musician throughout North America and Europe as well as participating in major music festivals around the world.
