Album Summary
Performer
Olivier Charlier (Violin)
Notes & Reviews:
Olivier Charlier has become one of the major violinists of his generation. This master of virtuosity, a proud member of the French violin school, presents a superb and generous interpretation of Mozart's Violin Concertos with impeccable technique; admirable musicality in his bowing; and a sound that is rich, fine, and deep. In the melodic quality, and in Charlier's emotional involvement - with the brilliant support of the Prague Chamber Orchestra - we discover a violonist who is sensitive, impetuous, and elegant. With this CD, recorded live in concert at the Cirque in Reims, Olivier Charlier inaugurates a very promising collaboration with the Reims Flâneries Musicales and the TransArt label.
