Notes & Reviews:

The Roentgen edition continues with a new release featuring his only two violin concertos still extant today in the full score. His communicative concertos rich in substance and outstanding orchestration technique show us Roentgen at his most genuine - as "a 19th century Leipzig man". This CD featured Dutch violinist Liza Ferschtman, one of the most impressive artists of her generation whose performances are marked by impassioned playing.
