Notes & Reviews:

Anthony Di Sanza has performed, presented master classes and held residencies in North America, Europe and Asia. A strong supporter of new music, he has been involved with the commissioning and premiering of more than 30 new works for numerous chamber ensembles. He was inspired to write the Concerto for Darabukka and Percussion Quartet by his darabukka teacher Abdulhamid Alwan. The work shows expressive, timbral and stylistic possibilities of this simple, yet beautiful drum.
