Notes & Reviews:

Danish works for solo guitar of the latest decades belong to a strong tradition of compositions for the instrument. Since the 1950s, most leading Danish composers not only composed chamber music including the guitar but also wrote a significant number of solo pieces. The works on this CD may be seen as part of an urge to explore soundscapes that are not normally utilized by the classical guitar - radical scordaturas, highly unorthodox playing techniques and other methods are utilized.
