Notes & Reviews:
"...she delights the ear from start to finish. Highly recommended, this true Original." -Gramophone Magazine
Fanfare
This is a wonderful disc to have restored to the catalog, especially at a budget price. Many of the items presented here were once recital staples but are now rarities, making their renewed availability all the more welcome. The monaural sound throughout has been given an excellent remastering, to a degree that the absence of stereo quickly fades from one's awareness. This is a terrific treat; don't wait to get it until it goes out of print in the next few nanoseconds, as happens to all too many CDs.
American Record Guide
The sound is clear and has plenty of depth; you'll hardly notice that it's not stereo. No texts are included, but for this sort of thing, who cares? Just listen and enjoy!
