Performers Composer

Notes & Reviews:

Hungarian-born Franz Liszt was a composer, virtuoso, pianist, conductor and teacher. A skill musician, he became widely popular in his day and was thought by his contemporaries to be the most technically-advance pianist - perhaps the greatest pianist - of all time. This album, Voll Freud und Leid (Full of Joy and Suffering) is a collection of selected Liszt compositions. The voice of Hans Jörg Mammel (tenor) and the musicianship of Hilko Dumno (Klavier) truly stand out in this exciting new release.
