A graduate of the Vienna University of Music & Performing Arts, versatile pianist Ingolf Wunder was the audience favorite and winner of the Second Ex Equo Prize at the 16th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw and two special prizes: the award of the Warsaw Philharmonic for the best performance of the Concerto and the prize awarded by the Rector of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music for the best performance of the Polonaise-Fantasia in A flat major, Op. 61.
