Notes & Reviews:

Vincent Parilla, together with his ensemble, More Hispano, explores the 16th century art of musical ornamentation, diminution and improvisation in this latest release. His virtuoso and imaginative recorder playing brings new life to songs and madrigals that enjoyed great popularity during the Renaissance. Accompanied by some of the finest young Spanish Early Music specialists, The New York Times raves, "Mr. Parilla and company go all out."

Ritmo
Anyone who has enjoyed his live performances may wonder if this study will be kept fresh, continuity and magic of the concert, and we can assure you that you do not lose the least.

Pizzicato
This wonderful production gives us a beautiful anthology of Iberian music. Glosas turns out to be a very erudite, very transparent and extremely consistent. Without showing signs of a great voice, Raquel Andueza, soprano, perfectly dressed this directory for small chamber ensembles. Vicente Parilla, which animates the whole, breathes the spirit of the fairest in perfect harmony with the directory defended. Far from the exuberant virtuosity, far from the bombastic music, this music is a haven straight out of another age, a true moment of happiness.

American Record Guide
This is an estimable performance that demonstrates how truly modern early music can be when the musicians have the freedom of knowing every nuance of its original language.
