Founded in 1983, the Italian early music ensemble, Accademia Bizantina is a group of talented musicians who came together to form a self-managed group where music could be made in an atmosphere of research and historical understanding. Playing on original instruments, the ensemble is noted for their stylistic rigor, imaginative interpretations and perfect technique.
