Leonard Slatkin, while always refined and tasteful, isn't always electric. But Vaughan Williams brings out Slatkin's most intense concentration, particularly with the later, more neglected symphonies.

These imports feature German pressings from the immense Sony Classical Masters Catalog in smart and collectible multi-disc editions. The Sony catalog is replete with legendary artists and hold many of the greatest recordings of the classical repertoire.
