Notes & Reviews:

The Schola Resupina ensemble, founded by Isabell Köstler in 2004, is devoted to expressing the wealth of Gregorian chant in all its opulence - the message is to become palpable in terms of logic, theology, and emotion. The singers do this both in international concert performances, and by holding regular masses in Viennese churches. Besides Gregorian chants from the mass and the officium, this CD also offers early Baroque organ pieces by Hofhaimer, Frescobaldi, and Cabanilles, interpreted by Helene von Rechenberg.
