Notes & Reviews:

This is the 2nd recording for Warner Classics by Hungarian pianist Farkas. The 1st recording in '08, 'An Evening with Liszt' was lauded throughout European press, & won '09 Liszt International Grand Prix du Disque of the Hungarian Liszt Society. "Where Liszt's piano music is concerned it is always good to have an exciting new kid on the block & Farkas fits the bill...I was struck by how, right from the first theme, he develops the material with forceful & power." Music Web Int.
