This new CD commemorates the 400th anniversary of the organ built by Heinrich Compenius the Younger in Niederndodeleben. The restoration of the instrument from 2000 - 2002 resulted in the reconstruction of the Johann Georg Hartmann organ of 1750/51, plus two more stops. This recording by splendid organist Barry Jordan comprises a colorful selection of North German and Central German baroque music.
