Album Remarks & Appraisals:
Recipient of the Joe Strummer Foundation for New Music Grant, violinist & composer Lisa Miles put herself to work combining classical chops & punk rock inspirations to collaborate with some of Pittsburgh's most creative visual artists, choreographers, & fellow musicians. In her own words, her music "tends toward either the edgy & intense or the atmospheric, dark & meditative" - both of which come through in force on Nalada.
Liner Note Author: Lisa Miles.
