Pietro Nardini (1722-1793): Six Sonatas for Two German Flutes and a Bass / Il BellÆAccordo Ensemble

Notes & Reviews:

The works for flute by Pietro Nardini (1722 - 1793) are currently the focus of a renewed interest by all experts in this field. The most recent acquisitions have, in fact, allowed a correct appraisal of a body of instrumental work of interest and charm, which can thus compete with the better known and more often performed violin repertoire by Giuseppe Tartini' s most famous pupil.
