Notes & Reviews:
During the sixties and the seventies of the last century, Narciso Yepes was unanimously considered one of the greatest living guitarists. In fact the sole who could compete with Andrès Segovia in terms of popularity.
Our new CD is featuring for the first time together the two recordings which contributed to shape the legend of this incredible Spanish guitarist: Rodrigo's "Concierto de Aranjuez" , which Yepes has been the first to perform outside of Spain and above all, the pieces played in the score of René Clément's famous film "Jeux Interdits".
Among them there is just the homonymous piece which became through the years, probably the most famous piece of the entire classical guitar repertoire.
