American Record Guide, July / August 2012
An easy to follow, clearly structured conclusion is Hancock's treatment of Ora Labora, a well-known tune written by T Tertius Noble. Hancock's skill in improvisation undoubtedly supplied the fodder for this brief collection of theme treatments. For all its brevity, I find it the best thing on this recording.
