After the impressive success obtained by the first CD dedicated to Narciso Yepes rare recordings of his youth, IDIS is happy to feature a new CD with a series of works which date back to the sixties.

In it you will find some of the most famous guitar repertoire such as Recuerdos de l'Alhambra and Capricho arabe (Tarrega), Asturias (Albeniz) and Serenata Española (Malat). At that time Yepes did not use the ten-string guitar which brought him fame later on. And which he started to use since 1964. His technique was already stunning as it is evident from the perfect tremolo in Recuerdos de l'Alhambra. This is a disc which plugs the gap in the discography of the years during which Yepes started to establish himself in the first rank of the post-Segovia generation guitarists.
