The Santiago Quartet, formed in 2008, is a champion of Latin music in the UK and abroad. Chiefly performing works and commissions by living and young composers, their performances have included collaborations with singer-songwriter Ana Silvera at the Purcell Room and live on Radio 3. Following their first collaborative recitals at Bolivar Hall and St Martin-in-the-Fields in the 2010/11 season, they are delighted to have produced this album of compelling, passionate Latin music.
