Notes & Reviews:

Grand music for coronations, for ceremonial occasions, for matters of state and for formal dancing is brought together in this special album. 400 years of quintessentially British music, from Matthew Locke to Eric Coates, centered around the peerless style of Sir Edward Elgar, whose 'pomp and circumstance' marches are familiar to us all.

American Record Guide, July / August 2012
In Walton's Te Deum Robinson's choir is exceptional, especially the strong, pitch-perfect boys. Rich harmonic movement and vital flow generate gripping excitement. It's a pity that the organ sounds like it's at the other end of a cathedral; only when playing ff does it achieve balance with the chorus.
