Album Summary
Ensemble ComposerNotes & Reviews:
George Enescu shares with Liszt, Rachmaninov, and Busoni the misfortune of having been a very great virtuoso, both violinist and pianist, who has had to wait a long time before full justice is done to him as a composer. For their first disc, the three young members of the all-female Trio Brancusi present three piano trios by Enesco, including premiere recordings of the Trio in G minor and the Sérénade Lointaine.
Notes & Reviews:Recording information: L'Église de Bon Secours, Paris (11) (03/07/2011-03/11/2011).
