Notes & Reviews:

On January 31, 2009 in the Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall, one concert in the series "Extremely Hungary" was dedicated jointly to the works of Ligeti and Kurtág. This disc contains the live recording of that Carnegie Hall concert. The UMZE Ensemble has appeared at the most prestigious Hungarian festivals and performs internationally, continuing its ambition to keep the now-classic compositions of the 20th century in the repertoire and to bring the most recent compositions of both Hungarian and foreign composers to the listener.
