Notes & Reviews:

This interesting combination of works for acoustic and electric guitar includes the world premiere recording of "Gee's Bend" by Michael Daugherty as well as guitar concertos by highly renowned film score composers Elmer Bernstein and Malcolm Arnold (both Oscar winners).

American Record Guide, November/December 2012
Perhaps you could say the same thing about Gershwin's piano concerto and 20s jazz language. Still, I found myself hoping for something less familiar. Drucker's playing, however, is completely convincing. I've rarely heard a guitarist who so completely assimilated both styles.
