Notes & Reviews:

American Record Guide, November/December 2013
Traditional carols are heard in arrangements by John Rutter, David Willcocks, Charles Woods, and conductor Quigley. Several fascinating contemporary pieces tickle the ear and add to the musical interest: Morten Lauridson's 'O Magnum Mysterium', John Taverner's 'The Lamb', Frank Tichelli's 'There Will Be Rest', and Elizabeth Poston's 'Jesus Christ the Apple Tree'. Of a more traditional bent are carols by Durufle and Praetorius.
