Notes & Reviews:
Ettore Bastianini's career was short and very intense. He was born in Sienna in 1922 and died at the beginning of 1967 when he was only 45 years old, when he was at the top of his personal success and artistic maturity. His death left a void for all those who appreciated and loved him. In 1961 Bastianini, still as the best of his artistic form, interpreted the eponymous role in one of the most famous of Verdi's works Nabucco, seizing a great success testified by the radio recording that IDI has the pleasure to submit in a new digitally remastered 2 CD set for all those who have appreciated and still appreciate the art of the great Italian baritone.
