Otto Nicolai: Lord, in you I trust - Psalms sung by the Stuttgart Chamber Choir

Notes & Reviews:

Phenomenal ... no superlative is wasted in praise of this choir, wrote DIE ZEIT about the Kammerchor Stuttgart and its director, Frieder Bernius. Now the ensemble presents a new a cappella CD with psalm settings by Otto Nicolai (1810-1849). Some of these settings are conceived for double choir and were composed by Nicolai for the choir of the Berlin Cathedral - where Nicolai had succeeded Felix Mendelssohn.

American Record Guide, November/December 2012
I think you'll be stunned at how beautiful this music sounds crooned by the men and women of Stuttgart's marvelous choir. They love this music and want you to love it too. Their warm, supple tone is enhanced by some of the finest engineering of recent memory. Notes, texts, and translations are included. This was one of those occasions where everything went right, and the results are irresistible.
