Notes & Reviews:

Founded in 1989 by Fabio Biondi, Europa Galante has built an enviable international reputation for their fiery interpretations of Baroque music on period instruments. The works on this recording illustrate Telemann's keen ability to assimilate national styles, as well as his prodigious skills in the area of musical depiction. The major works on the disc are the suites Burlesque de Quixotte and La Changeante, which exemplify Spanish and French stylistic traits. Also included are a selection of Italianate concertos, ranging from an ambitious work for three violins from Tafelmusik to the ever-popular viola concerto.

American Record Guide, January/February 2013
On the other hand, Biondi brings particular polish to the three concertos, making them quite a joy to hear. The recording is lean and clean, naturally spread. A very satisfying program.
