Notes & Reviews:

This is the first complete recording of Barry Cooper's new edition of these sonatas given by the distinguished British pianist Martin Roscoe.

American Record Guide, May/June 2013
In the second release, his late Beethoven is a decent. His steadfast rhythm and joviality of character is more convincing in early-mid period Beethoven rather than in late Beethoven, where some inwardness is essential. While Roscoe preserves a good sense of tempo and temperament.
