Reviews

A beautiful rarity!
I recently had the pleasure of hearing Christ's College Choir on their USA tour, and they are a revelation. Though an avid choral music buff, I was unfamiliar with all but two of the pieces on this recording. The Choir sings with purity of tone, perfect pitching, and fabulous diction; the sections blend beautifully, and the voices are young and fresh...no "hooty" boy sopranos in this group. The soloists are all excellent - too bad they are not named in the notes, as they deserve to be! If you like choral music and want to explore the unfamiliar, you will love this recording.
