Album Notes

Each year The Singing News Magazine, which prides itself in being "the Voice of Southern Gospel Music," polls its readers on the best gospel recordings of the year, and then releases (via New Haven Records) an album of the top ten finishers -- this year there was a three-way tie, however, so 2012's album features a dozen songs, including Gold City's "Peter, James and John," Legacy Five's "Ask Me Why," and the Tribute Quartet's "Homecoming Day," among others. ~ Steve Leggett
