Notes & Reviews:

Critics have applauded the Knabenchor Hannover's purity of sound, controlled sensuality, and profound musicianship since the group's inception. When director Jorg Breiding took over ten years ago, he championed works of lesser-known composers, many of which are showcased here in excerpts from previously released and never-before-heard recordings spanning 5 eras of European choral music.

American Record Guide, March / April 2013
Music (16 selections) from all of the names mentioned above graces this album, with emphasis on the earliest. Their performances are excellent all-around and I particularly enjoyed their Renaissance pieces. The sonic characteristics and recording ambiences are highly variable and the sound quality is generally good. You're sure to find this to be a varied and enjoyable feast of choral treats, particularly if you follow the best boychoirs.
