Italian pianist Leonora Armellini, who has won first prizes in many national and international competitions including the Venice Prize (2005) and the Camillo Togni International Competition in Gussago (Brescia, 2009), was the 2010 winner of the special Janina Nawrocka Prize for "Exceptional Musicality and Beauty of Sound" at the Fryderyk Chopin International Competition in Warsaw.
