On his second album for EMI Gospel, VaShawn Mitchell is riding higher than ever in the wake of six Stellar Awards. This past April, when an avenue in his hometown of Harvey, Illinois was named after him, he also appeared at Thornton High School (his alma mater) and had a performance recorded for this release. Created 4 This provides another spirited, choir-backed mixture of energetic and contemplative material, and it includes another Hot Gospel Songs hit in the form of "Turning Around for Me." Guest appearances come from Israel Houghton (on the celebratory, rock-tinged "Greatest Man") and Diane and Fantasia Barrino (on an inspired version of "The Potter's House").
