Interesting Chopin interpretations
Scriabin’s Sonata No. 2 starts with a somewhat Chopin-like first movement, filled with a lovely filigree of notes, giving way to a second movement filled with lots of back and forth interaction between the two hands up and down the keyboard. Ms. Rana performs this piece extremely well.
This recording is interesting, and I am glad I have it for the specific pieces that I called out, as well as the Scriabin sonata.
