Celebrating some of the biggest and most iconic acts that the British pop scene has ever produced, A Symphony of British Music: Music for the Closing Ceremony of London 2012 features 40 tracks that were performed at the Olympic Games spectacle. Alongside several pieces composed especially for the event by David Arnold ("Parade of the Athletes," "Medal Ceremony"), there are comedic turns from Eric Idle ("Always Look On the Bright Side of Life") and Russell Brand ("I Am the Walrus"), two collaborations between Jessie J, Taio Cruz, and Tinie Tempah, and headline-grabbing performances from Spice Girls, George Michael and Take That. ~ Jon O'Brien
