WQXR (New York)
... it goes to show the staying power and versatility of this Christmas-season favorite.

Musical Toronto
The Tafelmusik Chamber Choir was beautifully balanced, the orchestra a burnished wonder of gentle texture and sharp rhythm.

Audio Video Club of Atlanta
The big choruses such as "Hallelujah! The Lord God Omnipotent reigneth" and "Worthy is the Lamb" are grand and glorious .

American Record Guide, March / April 2013
Generally the pacing is on the relaxed and restrained side. Certainly he has developed in his 24-member choir an ensemble of tonal sheen, tight precision, and balance of parts. Among the soloists, Polegato has the most assertive personality. Countertenor Blaze makes a good showing in all the alto parts. She also delivers the most purely beautiful singing of the four. The recording, taken from concert performances in December 2011, is quite free of audience noises and crystal clear.
