Album Remarks & Appraisals:

Bellowhead's 2010 album, Hedonism, was the UK's highest-selling independently released traditional folk album of all time. Like Hedonism, Broadside is produced by the great John Leckie, who has previously worked closely with the Stone Roses and Radiohead; he has again effectively captured the explosiveness of Bellowhead, incorporating the top-notch jazz, world, folk and classical musicians

Album Reviews:

Mojo (Publisher) (p.90) - 4 stars out of 5 -- "[The arrangements] goad a voraciously full-blooded performance out of singer Jon Boden, who's at his rampant showman best throughout."
