American Record Guide, May/June 2013
Two remarkable organs are heard in these recordings. The organ at the church of Our Lady of Guibray in Falaise was built in 1746 by Claude Parizot. The other instrument is the 1753 organ by Jean-Baptiste Nicolas Lefebvre at the church of the Madeleine in Verneuilsur- Avre. Both are generously proportioned and equipped with the tone colors needed for this repertory. Both are recorded to agreeable effect here.
